How to keep track of Whatnot sales during a busy live

Prepare buyer trays, capture completed sales and check the show before packing.

1. Set out numbered trays first

Choose a range that fits the space you have. Label the physical trays clearly and use the same range in Live Tray. Reserve a separate place for anything you need to check, so uncertain items do not get mixed into a buyer’s tray.

2. Connect before you sell

Install the Windows or macOS Agent, select Whatnot and connect your own live URL. Open the protected Whatnot window, sign in if needed and check the capture status. Press Start Show before the first sale. A connected browser alone is not a running Live Tray show.

3. Place each sold item using the confirmed buyer tray

After a completed sale appears, check the buyer and tray number and put the item there. Later purchases by the same buyer belong in that tray during the show. A consecutive repeat purchase can show a yellow cue.

4. Check the record before finishing

Compare the recorded sales with your marketplace results. Investigate a missing or incorrect entry before editing or adding a sale; do not create a duplicate just because a list has not refreshed. Check pending synchronisation and finish the show when the records agree.
