Match the numbers to your physical setup
Use boxes, shelves or trays with clear numbers. Choose a tray range in the Agent that matches the space you have. Before the first show, check that the labels are easy to read from your selling position.
Let repeat purchases stay together
The first captured purchase gives the buyer a tray. Later purchases by that buyer stay with that tray during the same show. A consecutive repeat purchase can turn the live display yellow; use the displayed tray number as your reference.
Find the buyer without digging through the pile
Search for a buyer or tray in Live Tray. A phone gives you a portable view when the tray is away from the main computer. Optional tray labels and a keyboard-mode scanner can make lookup easier at the packing table.
Check corrections before moving items
If a sale or tray assignment needs correction, compare it with the show record and update the physical items too. If a buyer’s items need more space, keep the extra box clearly linked to that buyer’s tray; do not assume a colour or an unlabelled overflow pile will identify it.
Carry the tray into packing
Open the buyer’s expected item list and check the contents before packing. The tray number is the link between what happened during the live and what goes into the parcel.
