Privacy enquiries: privacy@live-tray.com
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Live Tray website, Cloud application, progressive web application, Desktop Agent and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is supplied by Live Tray
Independent UK sole trader service. By creating an account or using Live Tray, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
2. Purpose of Live Tray
Live Tray is a seller productivity, fulfilment and sales-organisation tool designed to help users manage their own legitimate live-selling activity.
- live-sale organisation and capture
- buyer and order identification
- automatic tray assignment
- label, packing and shipping workflows
- sales history, statistics and reconciliation
- user-initiated audio, image, camera, OCR or screen analysis where available
- related seller productivity tools
Live Tray is not intended to monitor unrelated users, create advertising or surveillance profiles, harvest marketplace data, build third-party databases or resell personal information.
3. Seller-authorised use
You may use Live Tray only with your own marketplace account, your own live-selling session, sales you are authorised to manage, and information you may lawfully access and process. You must not monitor or collect information about unrelated sellers, buyers or individuals without a legitimate business purpose and appropriate authority.
4. No scraping or data harvesting
Live Tray is not supplied as a web-scraping, crawling, data-mining or marketplace-harvesting service.
- Do not scrape marketplace websites or systematically extract marketplace databases.
- Do not mass-collect user information or information about unrelated sellers.
- Do not create datasets for sale or commercial redistribution.
- Do not bypass technical restrictions, access controls or robot exclusions.
- Do not interfere with marketplace systems or reverse engineer marketplace services.
- Do not use automated access in breach of marketplace rules or without any permission required by the marketplace.
Where Live Tray processes information visible or audible during your own live-selling session, it must be used only to support your own sales, fulfilment and operational workflow.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, data-protection and consumer-protection law, intellectual-property law, marketplace terms and your contractual obligations. Live Tray does not grant additional rights to marketplace data. Where a marketplace requires permission, API access, consent or authorisation, you must obtain it before using the relevant feature.
6. Marketplace independence
Live Tray is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by eBay, Whatnot, TikTok, Amazon or another marketplace unless expressly stated otherwise. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners and are referenced only to describe compatibility.
7. Third-party platforms
Third-party platforms operate independently and may change their services, interfaces, APIs, policies, restrictions, availability or features. We cannot guarantee permanent compatibility. Your relationship with each marketplace remains governed by its own terms and policies.
8. Information processed through the Service
Live Tray may process seller identifiers, buyer usernames, auction and order numbers, tray numbers, prices, timestamps, packing and fulfilment status, shipping references and other information you provide during an authorised sales workflow. Do not enter sensitive information unless necessary and lawfully permitted.
9. Audio, visual and screen-processing features
Where Live Tray offers audio recognition, OCR, camera scanning, image processing or screen-capture features, you initiate and control that processing. You must have the necessary rights or lawful basis to capture and process the content. Live Tray must not be used for covert surveillance.
10. Automated detection
Automated recognition, OCR, speech recognition and AI-assisted functions may make mistakes. Verify important information before packing, shipping, refunding, resolving disputes, maintaining financial records or fulfilling an order. Live Tray is an operational aid, not an infallible record.
11. Prohibited use
- unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive activity
- impersonation or unauthorised account access
- collection of personal information without a legitimate purpose
- stalking, profiling or surveillance
- sale or redistribution of personal information
- bypassing marketplace security or plan restrictions
- auction or sales manipulation
- interference with another seller or the Service
- security probing without written permission
- use that breaches applicable marketplace terms
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe the Service is being misused.
12. Ownership and user content
Live Tray does not claim ownership of information belonging to marketplaces, sellers or buyers. You retain rights in information you provide and permit Live Tray to process it only as needed to supply, secure and improve the Service and meet legal obligations. Use of Live Tray does not transfer ownership of third-party content.
13. Subscriptions and payment
Beta access does not automatically become a paid subscription. Before charging you, checkout will show the plan, billing period, applicable taxes and total price. Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period unless checkout or applicable law provides otherwise. Stripe processes payments under its own terms. Any mandatory cancellation or refund rights remain unaffected.
14. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be maintained, modified, suspended or discontinued for security, legal compliance, third-party platform changes or technical reasons. Where reasonably possible, paid users will receive advance notice of material changes.
15. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to applicable law, Live Tray is not responsible for indirect losses or losses caused by incorrect automated recognition, incorrect source data, tray assignment or user input; marketplace outages or policy changes; third-party API failures; carrier decisions; internet loss; or fulfilment decisions made without appropriate verification. A professionally reviewed financial liability cap will be added before paid launch.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the beta and request account deletion. We may suspend access to protect users or the Service, investigate misuse, comply with law or address non-payment. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a route to appeal.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, security requirements or marketplace rules. The current version and revision date will remain available on this website. Material changes will be brought to account holders’ attention.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer and business law may hear disputes. Mandatory rights available where you live are not affected.
