Set up before the first auction.
Install the Desktop Agent on your Windows PC or Mac, select eBay Live and connect the show you are running. Check the capture connection, choose your tray range and start the Live Tray show before selling. The Agent needs to stay running on that computer.
Sort by buyer as you sell.
A captured completed sale is linked to a buyer tray. When that buyer purchases another item in the same show, use the same tray. You can check the live buyer, tray and auction reference without writing a new sorting list after each sale. Consecutive purchases by one buyer have a yellow repeat cue.
Bring the display to your selling station.
Use your phone as the live companion instead of keeping the main computer within reach. Add Live Tray to the Home Screen, open the active show and enable voice guidance. “Tray 7. Auction 20.” is an example of the spoken guidance. Check audio with your own phone and earbuds before the show.
Prepare for the next completed auction.
When the connected eBay Live auction supplies timing, Live Tray shows a countdown alongside the live view. Timing availability depends on the source. Keep checking the confirmed sale information before putting an item into its buyer’s tray.
Turn grouped items into packed orders.
At the packing table, search for the buyer or tray, or use an optional keyboard-mode scanner. Compare the expected items with the physical tray, mark the items packed and resolve missing items before Ready to Ship. Invite a packer within your plan’s team allowance if you work together.
Keep dispatch connected to the show.
Generate your shipping labels through your normal marketplace or carrier process. Live Tray can reorder a PDF into tray order after you review the page assignments. Record carrier, tracking and dispatch progress in Live Tray, while checking final address and postage details in eBay.
Look back before the next live.
Open show history to find previous buyers, sale totals and packing progress. On Pro, saved sale screenshots can become an AI item report after you choose Analyse. Review its categories and variants rather than treating suggestions as guaranteed product identification.
