How to sort shipping-label PDFs by tray number

Review page-to-tray matches and export a new label PDF in the order of your trays.

1. Start with your marketplace or carrier PDF

Generate the labels through your normal shipping service. Use a PDF with one buyer’s label per page; a sheet containing labels for different buyers cannot be separated by the sorter. Keep the source file as your original.

2. Select the matching show in the Desktop Agent

Open the shipping-label PDF sorter and load the saved buyer trays for that show. The supported size is up to 50 MB and 1,000 pages. Password-protected and form PDFs are not accepted.

3. Review every page

Exact readable buyer usernames can produce suggestions. A delivery name is not necessarily the same as a buyer username. Assign unmatched pages manually or exclude them explicitly. Scanned pages need manual assignment because this tool does not use OCR or AI.

4. Export and inspect

Save the reordered PDF. Numerical tray order places 2 before 10, with original order preserved within one tray. Inspect the output, check the recipient labels and print a small sample at the correct scale before a large batch. The sorter copies the original PDF pages; it does not create postage.
